About Me
Caroline Tucker trained at Wimbledon School of Art where she completed her degree in the design and construction of props and sets for film, exhibition and theatre in 1993. She worked freelance in this field before teaching Design Technology at secondary level. She lives in Somerset with her husband, children and greyhounds.
Butler Design aims to produce hand made products in as environmentally friendly way as possible and to recycle old pieces into new products. The wooden ‘blanks’ are made in a sheltered workshop in Great Britain by Claro Enterprises Sheltered Workshop; a charity which provides a safe, realistic working environment for people with mental health problems. These are then painted with organic solvent-free paints. All the images are original, hand-drawn artwork and can be tailored to your individual preferences. Please contact us to order off the peg items or to discuss bespoke design work.
